Warragul Business Group – 2015 Annual General Meeting
Thursday 6 August – In2Food, Cnr Witton Street & Princes Way, Warragul – 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
Guest speaker for the evening is The Royal Society of Victoria’s executive director, Mike Flattley and past Deputy Director of Cultural Development at The University of Melbourne.
Mike is the public face of Victoria’s oldest learned institution, but his interests lie in engaging young bright minds to see the cultural, economic and business opportunities in the design, scientific, technological and production sectors of regions they grow up in.
The evening also includes the election of 2015/16 Executive Committee who represent and support member businesses through networking and marketing activities; lobbying local government, influencers and decision makers; and providing relevant information.
The Executive Committee openly encourages members to consider leadership and mentoring roles within the WBG membership base, including the Executive itself. So far nominations have been received for the role of President, Secretary and Treasurer with two vacant executive committee positions. If you’re interested in making a positive difference in the social and economic future of Warragul, then we urge you to complete the Nomination Form and return it by 3 August 2015.
WBG member business, In2Food, will be providing a showcase of tempting food throughout the evening.
Cost is $25/member or $35/non members with drinks at bar prices.
For catering purposes please RSVP Gippsland Business Centre or phone 5624 3833.
