SnowFest Warragul 2018
Award winning and free SnowFest Warragul will be on Friday 27 July between 5pm and 8pm in Smith & Palmerston Streets with a fireworks display at 7.30pm.
What is SnowFest Warragul?
It started with the crazy idea of bringing truckloads of real snow from the top of Mt Baw Baw into the heart of Warragul for fun and free family event.
Activities include snow play areas for big and little kids, toboggan run, Dunk for Gold Challenge fundraiser, SnowLight Show, Snow Zoo, Howling Huskies, dance music, competitions, food, toasting marshmallows and fireworks display.
The festival is also about supporting our local community, so we’re asking everyone to bring a gold coin for this year’s Motor Neurone Disease ice cold Dunk for Gold Challenge to support local people living with MND.
SnowFest Warragul won Baw Baw Shire’s Australia Day Community Event of the Year 2017.
An initiative of the Warragul Business Group, this special event is run by a fantastic group of volunteers with the support of our local businesses and community groups.
There’s prizes for Best in SnowFest Dress competition…so shake out your ski suits, beanies, polar bear, Frozen and Snow Queen outfits.
See you in the snow!
